Fortaleza, 31 March 2026: The technical programme will explore strategic themes for industry professionals, combining practical insight with the application of key standards and emerging technologies.
Intersolar Brasil Nordeste 2026 will bring together leading experts and decision-makers in renewable energy while offering a comprehensive programme of workshops for technical training and professional development. On 28 and 29 April at the Ceará Events Centre, the sessions will provide an immersive, hands-on exploration of electrical safety, e-mobility and energy storage systems.
The programme will open on Tuesday 28 April with the workshop “How NBR 16384 Supports the Application of NR-10”, delivered by Edson Martinho, Managing Partner at Abracopel. The session will introduce the technical standard as a complementary framework to NR-10, outlining safe working procedures, risk assessment methodologies and preventive measures, with a clear focus on reducing accidents and strengthening regulatory compliance.
Also on the first day, the workshop “NR-10 – What’s New and How to Adapt Your Organisation”, led by João Gilberto Cunha, CEO of Mi Omega, will examine the latest updates to the standard and their practical implications, including alignment with the Risk Management Programme (PGR) set out in NR-1
Concluding the day’s programme, “Modelling and Operational Strategies for Charging Networks” will offer a comprehensive overview of the planning and management of electric vehicle charging infrastructure. Delivered by Cesare Quintero Pica and Rafael Cunha of movE Eletromobilidade, the session will cover everything from investment decision-making to monetisation strategies and user experience.
The programme will continue on Wednesday 29 April with “Implementing Fire Protection Measures Required by the Fire Service”, presented by João Gilberto Cunha and Rafael Cunha. This session will address both technical and regulatory requirements for buildings equipped with electric vehicle charging systems, with particular emphasis on safety and risk mitigation.
In the afternoon, attention will turn to energy storage. The workshop “BESS Applications in the Commercial and Industrial Market for Integrators”, delivered by Vinicius Ayrão Franco, will explore practical use cases, limitations and technical criteria for adopting battery systems within the C&I segment.
Closing the programme, “Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) in Practice: Strategies to Enable Return on Investment” will provide a deeper analysis of the implementation potential of BESS and regulatory integration. Delivered by professors from the Federal University of Paraíba – Flávio da Silva Vitorino Gomes, Ademar Virgolino da Silva Netto and Kleber Carneiro de Oliveira – the session will adopt an engineering-led approach grounded in real-world case studies.
With a strong emphasis on practical application and alignment with current market demands, the workshops will reinforce Intersolar Brasil Nordeste’s role as a platform for professional development and upskilling within the energy transition.
The Intersolar Brasil Nordeste 2026 is Brazil’s key gathering for solar innovation in the Northeast region. Taking place on 28–29 April at the Centro de Eventos do Ceará in Fortaleza, the event will bring together industry experts and decision-makers to explore key topics such as distributed and centralized generation, battery energy storage systems, green hydrogen, and the carbon credit market.
The conference will also address reverse power flows, the impacts of production curtailment, and the integration of intermittent renewable energy sources.
