Electrical Engineer (2005), with a Master's degree (2007) and a PhD (2012) from the Federal University of Pernambuco, including a sandwich period at the University of Minho, Portugal (2009). He is an Associate Professor at the Federal University of Paraíba, affiliated with the Department of Renewable Energy Engineering (DEER) at the Center for Alternative and Renewable Energy (CEAR). He has experience in research and development in the field of Electrical Engineering, with an emphasis on energy conversion and power quality, working mainly with photovoltaic systems. He has been affiliated with the Embrapii CEAR/UFPB Unit since 2022.
