This workshop will focus on the key updates from the NR-10 review, comprehensively addressing all changes introduced by the standard and their practical implications for companies. Among other aspects, the workshop will cover updates related to training, the integration of NR-10 with the Risk Managing Program (PGR) established by NR-1, and the new requirements for managing electrical risks. With a practical, hands-on approach, the workshop will demonstrate how to implement the necessary adjustments, which are to include the identification, analysis, and accurate classification of electrical risks to be incorporated into the PGR, always grounded in national technical standards and best safety practices.

This workshop focuses on the technical and regulatory requirements for buildings with electric vehicle charging systems (SAVE), with a focus on electrical safety and fire prevention. It covers Fire Department requirements and key standards, including technical responsibility, correct charger selection, electrical infrastructure requirements, protection devices, emergency shutdown systems, and load studies. The workshop also compares new and existing buildings, highlighting best practices in design, adaptation, and operation to ensure regulatory compliance and installation safety.

With the latest editions of the NR-10 and ABNT NBR 16384 standards, electrical safety in installations now plays an even more relevant role. This session examines regulatory requirements and engineering best practices for their implementation.
