This workshop covers the key updates introduced by the revision of NR-10, providing a broad overview of all changes and their practical impact on organisations. Topics include updates to training requirements, the integration of NR-10 with the PGR (Risk Management Programme) established under NR-1, and new requirements for electrical risk management. The workshop takes a practical approach, and shows how to implement the necessary adjustments, including how to spot, assess, and correctly classify electrical risks to be included in the PGR, based on national technical standards and good safety practices.

This workshop focuses on the technical and regulatory requirements for buildings with electric vehicle charging systems (SAVE), with a focus on electrical safety and fire prevention. It covers Fire Department requirements and key standards, including technical responsibility, correct charger selection, electrical infrastructure requirements, protection devices, emergency shutdown systems, and load studies. The workshop also compares new and existing buildings, highlighting best practices in design, adaptation, and operation to ensure regulatory compliance and installation safety.

With the latest editions of the NR-10 and ABNT NBR 16384 standards, electrical safety in installations now plays an even more relevant role. This session examines regulatory requirements and engineering best practices for their implementation.
